GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These general terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply when you, as a consumer, place an order via Vauni AB’s (“Vauni”) website (the “Website”).

In order to complete a purchase via the Website, the Customer must accept the Terms. By accepting the Terms, the Customer undertakes to comply with the Terms in their entirety and confirms that they have read the information regarding Vauni’s processing of personal data in accordance with Vauni’s Privacy Policy.

CONSUMER PURCHASES

Purchases made via the Website are governed by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (1990:932) and the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), as well as any legislation that may in future replace such laws (“Applicable Consumer Legislation”).

BUSINESSES

Transactions between Vauni and other businesses are governed by the Swedish Contracts Act, Act (1915:218) on Contracts and Other Legal Acts in the Field of Property Law. Such purchases are not governed by these Terms.

PAYMENT TERMS

When you make a purchase via the Website, you acknowledge and accept that this means you undertake a payment obligation in accordance with these Terms and applicable legislation.

Vauni does not sell products to minors (persons under the age of 18 or otherwise lacking legal capacity).

PRICES

When ordering products via the Website, the prices stated on the Website shall apply. The prices for the products on the Website are updated in real time, displayed in the Customer’s local currency where applicable, and shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Vauni reserves the right to adjust the prices on the Website and in other publications without prior notice.

Vauni reserves the right, in the event of unintended errors, whether obvious or otherwise, such as clerical errors or similar regarding price, product information or any other information stated on the Website, in order confirmations or invoices, to correct such information, whereupon a new order confirmation and, where applicable, invoice will be issued. The Customer is entitled to cancel the order free of charge if such corrections are not accepted.

PAYMENT VIA SHOPIFY PAYMENTS

Via Shopify Payments, and in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable at the time of purchase, Vauni offers the payment methods presented at checkout.

PAYMENT BY PREPAYMENT INVOICE

WARRANTY

All Vauni products are sold with a five (5) year warranty.

You should examine all goods carefully upon receipt to ensure that they are free from defects, function properly, and have the expected characteristics.

The warranty for the product covers only original defects, i.e. defects that were present in the product at the time of delivery. Such defects must be examined and confirmed by Vauni, and Vauni is entitled to offer free repair, alternatively a new product or other compensation.

If the product is found not to be affected by a defect covered by the warranty, Vauni is entitled to charge you for the cost of investigation and, where applicable, other handling costs.

If the defect has been caused by incorrect installation, assembly, use or similar circumstances, you will be charged for repair costs. The warranty does not apply to defects arising during or after your own modification of the product’s function and appearance, such as reconstruction or other reconfiguration of the product.

Your order confirmation or receipt serves as the warranty certificate. Your order confirmation or receipt is required in order to make a warranty claim.

The terms of this warranty do not limit your rights under Applicable Consumer Legislation.
