RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing goods from Vauni, you as a consumer have the right to withdraw from the purchase in accordance with the provisions of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59). In certain cases, you are entitled to withdraw from a purchase (right of withdrawal). The right of withdrawal means that you have the right to cancel your purchase by sending a notice to Vauni within fourteen (14) days from the day on which you received the ordered goods (the withdrawal period).

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact Vauni by e-mail at: hello@vauni.com. When contacting us, please state your order or invoice number in order to receive instructions on how the matter shall be handled and whether the goods are to be returned.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, and if so requested by Vauni, the goods must be returned to Vauni within fourteen (14) days from the date on which notice of the exercise of the right of withdrawal was given to Vauni.

You are responsible for any return shipping costs, which Vauni is entitled to deduct in connection with any refund payment.

All returns must be made in the original packaging and you bear the risk during return shipping, for example if the goods are damaged or lost in transit. Goods delivered on pallets must be loaded on pallets in order to avoid damage during transport. In cases where goods delivered on pallets are to be returned, shipping may be arranged by Vauni. The shipping cost is paid by you but may be reimbursed by Vauni in accordance with these Terms.

Vauni reserves the right, in cases where the return is incomplete or otherwise incorrect, to charge the full cost of missing or damaged parts or components.

The amount paid by you for returned goods will be refunded no later than within fourteen (14) days from receipt of your notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal, provided that Vauni has received the goods back within this period and has had time to inspect them. Refunds may be made by means other than the method used for the original payment.

You are always entitled to examine the goods to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and function.

However, you may be liable to compensate Vauni for any reduction in value of the goods if the goods have been used or handled to a greater extent than necessary to determine their characteristics or function. Such deduction for reduction in value shall be determined as the amount corresponding to the extent to which the goods have decreased in value as a result of your use or handling.

RETURNS

Returns (as a result of exercising the right of withdrawal, or due to a complaint) must always be made in the original packaging. After contact with Vauni, other packaging suitable for the goods may be approved.

Goods delivered on pallets must, if they are to be returned, be loaded on pallets in order to avoid damage during transport. In cases where goods delivered on pallets are to be returned, shipping may be arranged by Vauni. The shipping cost is paid by you but may be reimbursed by Vauni in accordance with these Terms. Any transport damage resulting from inadequate packaging will be charged to you.

Please contact Vauni by telephone: +46 300-323 310 or by e-mail: hello@vauni.com in order to receive a return shipping label sent to your e-mail address.

When exercising the right of withdrawal and in the event of a complaint, you are responsible for the return until it has been received by Vauni.

In the event of an approved complaint, however, you will be reimbursed for the shipping cost paid.

COMPLAINTS

If you wish to invoke a defect in ordered goods, you must contact Vauni within a reasonable time from the date on which the defect was discovered, or should have been discovered. A complaint made within two (2) months from the date on which you discovered the defect shall always be deemed to have been made within a reasonable time. A complaint may not be made later than three (3) years after receipt of the goods.

A complaint shall be made by e-mail to: hello@vauni.com. Please state your order or invoice number together with a detailed description of the defect in the goods.

After you have submitted a complaint to Vauni, Vauni is entitled to decide whether the goods are to be returned.

If a complaint has been approved and the goods have been returned, Vauni will compensate you in accordance with the rules of Applicable Consumer Legislation, including the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (1990:932). This may take place through repair of the existing goods, replacement with new equivalent goods, or by refunding your payment for the goods.

Vauni inspects and tests returned goods in accordance with the description of the defect that you have provided. It is therefore beneficial if the description is as detailed as possible.

If the goods are found to be free from defects, a charge for troubleshooting and shipping will be applied in order to cover Vauni’s costs for the return.
